The workshop of the project “Women of Ukraine Empowered for a New Workforce Culture in Ukrainian Universities and Research Institutions” by IKEM and Women’s Energy Club of Ukraine (WECU) provides a structured programme to advance equality and inclusion within organisational settings, in alignment with Horizon Europe requirements. Following an introduction, participants will examine biases and prejudices in the workplace through an engaging lens and interact in facilitated discussions using the EQT card game. The session will introduce organisation-specific and Horizon Europe-compatible Equality Plans, outlining key requirements and implementation considerations. Participants will then develop initial equality strategies, supported by a brief self-assessment, to be equipped to set up Horizon-Europe-compatible plans for their own organisations.

Participants will benefit from:

  • Co-development of a Horizon Europe compatible Gender Equality Plan,
  • Strengthened institutional capacity to foster gender equality in their workplace,
  • Hands-on training on workplace gender issues,
  • Subsequent follow-up and coaching towards the implementation of said Plan in their home institutions, and
  • Travel and accommodations costs to attend the workshop in Warsaw will be covered.

As only a limited number of participants can join, places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
