Simon Kaser, LL.M. has been a Senior Research Associate in the Mobility Department at IKEM since 2021. His work focuses on sustainable mobility in urban and rural areas.
After studying business law at the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in environmental law at the University of Kassel, he worked for one year as a lawyer in Contract & Claim Management at SMA Solar Technology AG. He then spent three years as a research assistant at the University of Kassel in the research project “Geteilte und vernetzte Mobilitätsdienstleistungen (GetMobil)” (shared and networked mobility services) on linking private ridesharing with public transport in rural areas. Most recently he worked for two and a half years as a research assistant in the research project “Environmental policy instruments to reduce plastic pollution of inland waters through drainage systems (InRePlast)” at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences.
