Sophia Schaller joined IKEM’s energy law department in March 2022.
She studied law in Munich and Paris. In addition to a German law degree, she holds a Licence and a Maîtrise en droit from the Université Panthéon-Assas (Paris II). Sophia Schaller completed her legal clerkship at the Berlin Court of Appeal, including positions at the Federal Anti-Discrimination Agency and the secretariat of Amnesty International Germany. After successfully completing the second state examination, she worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Public Law, Administrative, European, Environmental, Agricultural and Food Law under Prof. Dr. Härtel at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder). She went on to work as a research assistant in the office of Prof. Dr. Härtel at the Federal Constitutional Court in Karlsruhe.
