Till Reinholz is a doctoral candidate at the Research Academy and a research assistant at IKEM.

His research at IKEM focuses on energy and environmental law, in particular in the area of energy transition acceptance, as well as in the field of negative emission technologies.

He is doing his doctorate at the University of Greifswald under Prof. Dr. Rodi. In addition to his doctorate, he is a research associate in the Energy Transition Cluster at the Interdisciplinary Research Center Baltic Sea Region (IFZO).

As part of his work at IKEM and IFZO, Till Reinholz accompanies the international climate negotiations and took part in the COP29 and COP30 world climate conferences, among others.

Till Reinholz studied law in Halle (Saale) and Lisbon with a focus on European law and criminology. He completed his second state examination in law in 2023, which included working in the European Department of the Foreign Office. He is a volunteer for the Erasmus Student Network.
