Through BRAVE10k, IKEM is supporting the development of an ecosystem for the planning, certification, and operation of autonomous vehicles in public transportation.
The development of automated and autonomous vehicles has made significant progress in recent years. Following successful pilot projects and practical testing in real-world traffic conditions, the transition to regular operation is now imminent.
The BRAVE10k project is laying the groundwork for enabling widespread adoption of autonomous driving in public transportation. To this end, the consortium is developing an open ecosystem of digital processes, AI-supported methods, and standardized interfaces designed to simplify the planning, procurement, approval, and operation of autonomous vehicles and make these processes scalable.
IKEM supports BRAVE10k in the areas of legal affairs, stakeholder management, and communications. It analyzes regulatory requirements for autonomous mobility and coordinates dialogue with relevant stakeholders from the transportation sector, government, industry, and research.
