The Annual Report 2024 provides a comprehensive 52-page overview of IKEM’s work over the past year. It documents key research findings, events and publications from over 80 projects on climate protection, energy and mobility.
The Institute’s interdisciplinary teams conducted research on topics including airborne wind power, ammonia as a maritime energy source, cross-border electric road systems, the automation of local public transport, heat storage in urban areas, district concepts for the heating transition, transnational cooperation in the Baltic Sea region and social innovations for a just energy transition.
