Abstract

This factsheet provides a compact overview of the legal requirements and framework conditions for the certification of green ammonia as a renewable fuel of non-biogenic origin (RFNBO). It explains the relevant requirements at Union level and their implementation at national level. In addition, the factsheet outlines measures for the further development of the legal framework and highlights both the European and the national perspective.
