Abstract

The transition to sustainable transport is central to EU climate goals, with Electric Road Systems (ERS) offering dynamic charging solutions for electric vehicles. The E-CORE project aims to lay the foundations for a transnational ERS corridor across Europe. As part of the project, KTI conducted a comprehensive study of the Hungarian section between the Austrian border and Budapest, covering corridor identification, regulatory and economic conditions, operational harmonisation, and infrastructure planning.
