IKEM is currently looking for an intern to support the organization of the annual IKEM Academy: Energy and Climate. The internship of three months (or more) will start in April or May 2023.
The Institute for Climate Protection, Energy and Mobility (IKEM) is a non-profit association and independent research institute with over 10 years of experience in interdisciplinary research on climate change mitigation. Its work explores issues at the intersection of law, economics and politics. The IKEM Academy is a world-renowned annual multidisciplinary forum and conference cycle for highly qualified researchers and professionals of all ages who want to learn more, think more and do more for the global energy transition.
During your internship with IKEM, you will support the Sustainability & Innovation team within the process of organizing the 2023 IKEM Academy. Your tasks will range from organising and managing the logistics of site visits and communication with participants to developing creative visual outputs with our science-communication and design experts to workshop development and moderation. Depending on your academic background, level of qualification and interests, you may be assigned additional tasks related to other projects, like ‚EQT: The gender equality toolkit‘, or socio-economic research for projects on local green energy and citizen participation.
The internship will be remunerated with €500 per month for a 40-hour working week.
