Internship

The Institute for Climate Protection, Energy and Mobility is currently looking for interns for an internship of three to six months.

The Institute for Climate Protection, Energy and Mobility (IKEM) is a Berlin-based NGO and affiliated institute of the University of Greifswald. IKEM works in an interdisciplinary manner and deals with key scientific questions on the way to a sustainable economic and social order. Central research topics are the expansion of renewable energies, questions of climate protection as well as the future of energy networks and transport systems.

During your Internship with IKEM you will work closely with our research teams. Depending on your academic background and level of qualification, your internship can also include independent research and analysis within our projects. This systematically introduces the interns to later research activities. Yours tasks will focus on supporting activities for our research projects on renewable energy, energy efficiency and innovative forms of mobility as well as other upcoming projects. Some administrative functions (e.g. project management), other duties and special projects may be assigned as necessary.

We are looking for students (e.g. law, political science, social science or communication science as well as economics or business administration) with above-average academic performance and interest in IKEM’s research topics.

Interns are compensated with a monthly wage of 500 € (based on 40 working hours per week).
