Dr. Olaf Däuper studied law in Mainz, Glasgow (Erasmus scholarship) and Freiburg im Breisgau. In 2003, he received his doctorate from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin on a topic related to energy antitrust law.Between 1998 and 1999, he worked as a research assistant at the Max Planck Institute for International and Foreign Criminal Law (USA Department), from 1998 to 2000 he completed his legal clerkship in Freiburg, Offenburg and Brussels. Since 2001, Dr. Olaf Däuper has been a lawyer at Becker Büttner Held and a partner at BBH Berlin since 2007.Dr. Däuper is a member of the German-American Lawyers’ Association (DAJV); the Institute for Energy and Competition Law in the Municipal Economy (EWeRK) and the Society for Energy Science and Energy Policy (GEE).
