DZ-ES examines how decentralized participation can contribute to increasing acceptance and efficiency in the energy transition.
DZ-ES examines how decentralized participation can contribute to increasing acceptance and efficiency in the energy transition.
The success of the energy transition depends on acceptance for its implementation – for example, for the construction of wind turbines. The DZ-ES project therefore examines which participation instruments can be used to achieve a favorable public perception of the energy transition. With the goal of decentralizing the energy transition in mind, the project’s focus is on the involvement of local actors in the planning processes and their participation in the financing of related projects.
In the project, IKEM examines the relevant legal framework on the grid and generation side and develops proposals on how increased decentralized participation can be implemented.
