MobiRural

The transformation towards a sustainable mobility system needs to address the special needs and challenges of rural regions. The European project MobiRural identifies solutions to improve mobility in rural areas and develops corresponding training courses and manuals for mobility officers and development agents. They are the key players in the transmission of knowledge and implementation of solutions at the local level.

IKEM joins the project with its expertise on the legal and economic framework of rural mobility. The main tasks include the development of training materials and the establishment of a European network on regulations and initiatives for rural mobility.
