Yannick Würkert is a Senior Research Associate IKEM’s Energy Law department.

He studied law at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg and the Universidad A Coruna. After his first state law examination, he gained practical experience as a research assistant at the law firm Beisse & Rath and also worked as a proofreader for the university.

He completed his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Nuremberg with a focus on international and European law, including stints at the German Foreign Office in Vienna and the law firm Bissel & Partner.
