Energy concept for the transformation of the Cottbus-Drewitz airport site into a climate-neutral industrial park
The the former Cottbus-Drewitz airfield will be converted into an industrial park with around 35% of the area being earmarked for the generation of renewable energy (wind energy, photovoltaics, hydrogen). The aim is to supply the industrial park with energy in a CO₂-neutral manner.
IKEM will develop a holistic energy concept for the so-called “Green Areal Lausitz”. To this end, the generation of renewable energies is combined with consumption in the electricity, heat and mobility sectors. For the implementation of the energy concept, IKEM will analyze various technological and economic options and develop implementation alternatives.
