Smart control in low-voltage systems is key to the energy transition: It enables the grid-beneficial use of increasing flexibility, thereby supporting the integration of renewable energy sources and ensuring reliable grid operation. Against this backdrop, the next Berlin Energy Roundtable will focus on the regulatory and practical issues surrounding the controllability of low-voltage consumer equipment.
IKEM will open the evening with a brief overview of the current regulatory framework for low-voltage control. Following that, Jendrik Ulfig and Frank Hirschi from the HORIZONTE Group will provide insights into ongoing implementation projects and report on practical experiences as well as the operational challenges encountered along the way. The focus will be on the digital transformation of low-voltage systems and digital control solutions, the control box rollout, and experiences with controllability tests.
Following the professional discussion, we’ll head over to the Zollpackhof to wrap up the evening together.
